Ingredients for 6 Cheese Sloppy Joe Muffins:
1/4 cup (60 grams) Dollie Sauce Sweet Onion Bacon
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 pound ground beef
1/2 teaspoon pepper and 1 teaspoon salt
1 can of tomato sauce
2 teaspoons oyster sauce
8 slices of white bread
2 teaspoons melted butter
80 grams Gruyère or shredded cheddar cheese
1 bunch parsley, chopped
Fry the onions and garlic in a pan, add the minced meat and sauté, add salt and pepper, then add the tomato sauce. Once most of the liquid has gone, add the oyster sauce and mix through. Then add the Dollie Sauce Sweet Onion Bacon and mix. Set the pan aside. Cut off the crusts of the white bread and cut 2 slices into quarters (8 pieces). Press the other slices into a previously oiled muffin tin, one slice at a time, so that a kind of muffin is formed. Then brush the inside of the muffins with the melted butter. Now add the cheese. Cover with the quartered slices of toast and press in well. Now off to the grill indirectly at 140 degrees for 10 minutes. Then pour the minced meat into the muffins and add a little more cheese on top. Now again in the grill at approx. 200 degrees and bake briefly until the cheese is melted and slightly browned. Now add the parsley on top - and the Dollie Sauce Sloppy Joe Cheese Muffin is ready. Bon Appetit ! :-)
